Land acknowledgement

The Garry Theatre is situated in Treaty 1 territory, within the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. We acknowledge this area’s long history as a gathering place for Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene Peoples.

We honour the enduring relationships Indigenous peoples have with this land, their ongoing presence in our community, and the cultures and stories they share across generations.
